As the COVID-19 pandemic began, diocesan youth missioner the Rev. H. Mark Smith found himself in video meetings with youth workers at a diocesan as well as national level, discussing youth ministry in the time of COVID-19, and the common desire to move youth from mourning the grief of what they are losing into action and a way to feel like they’re making a contribution to their communities. It was out of these conversations, Smith said in an interview, that came the idea for the diocesan-wide youth ministry outreach campaign, Our World, Our Future: Young People Responding to Urgent Needs.

This year’s summer camp programs at the Barbara C. Harris Camp and Conference Center in Greenfield, N.H., have been suspended because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The center’s executive director, John Koch, and board president, the Rev. Natasha Stewart, announced the suspension on May 13.
