The diocesan Office of Youth Ministry is taking the show on the road, so to speak, by initiating a
series of regional youth days for middle and high school students and their adult mentors--regardless of the size of their church youth group.
The idea is to bring youth from Episcopal churches together to get to know one another and have time for learning and fun together, while also providing programmatic support to congregations, no matter the size of their program. Come if you're one, come if you're many, organizers from the Office of Youth Ministry say.
Each day will include leadership development, fun activities and fellowship, at no cost, with lunch provided. Participants are just asked to bring a snack or drinks to share.
Regional Youth Days take place on these Saturdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.:
• Sept. 22 at Trinity Church (124 River Road) in Topsfield;
• Oct. 13 at the Church of Our Redeemer (6 Meriam Street) in Lexington; and
• Oct. 20 at St. Peter's Church (165 Main Street) in Buzzards Bay.
