St. Dunstan’s Church in Dover invites the community to join its online Lenten study series, "White Christian Nationalism: How Did We As a Nation Get Here and What Can We Do About It?" The series will dive into what White Christian Nationalism is, how it impacts faith and country, and what can be done--including how The Episcopal Church and other denominations are responding.
The five-week series will be held on Zoom on Tuesdays at 8 p.m., beginning March 11 and running through April 8. Upon registration, participants will receive a study guide with links to documentaries, articles and other resources that will be the focus of each week’s discussion. Although these background resources will be provided for each week for context and learning, prep work is not required. All who want to learn more and be part of these conversations are invited to attend. Each session will be self-contained and people are invited to join as they are able.
The last session, on April 8, will feature Aaron Scott, author of Bring Back Your People: Ten Ways Regular Folks Can Put a Dent in White Christian Nationalism. Meeting dates are: March 11, 18 & 25 and April 1 & 8. To sign up and receive the Zoom and resources links, please e-mail the Rev. Sean Leonard at revsean@saintdunstansma.org.
