On Sunday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. in the chapel at St. Anne's Church in Lowell, Dr. Robert Forrant of the Department of History at UMass Lowell will give a brief talk about the role of St. Anne’s Church in Lowell in the anti-slavery movement and the Underground Railroad (which included freedom-seekers hiding in the church's rectory). There will be a Q&A as well as participation from the National Parks Service.
