Gratitude and prayers go with Diocese of Massachusetts deputies and bishops as they travel to Louisville, Ky., for the 81st General Convention of The Episcopal Church, June 23-28.

The General Convention is the governing body of The Episcopal Church. It convenes every three years as a bicameral legislature that includes the House of Deputies and the House of Bishops, comprising deputies and bishops from each diocese.
Among the highlights this year are the “Love Always” Episcopal Revival on July 22, featuring Presiding Bishop Michael B. Curry preaching his 27th and final Episcopal Revival sermon as he concludes his nine-year term, and the June 26 election of a new presiding bishop from a slate of five nominees.
