RIP: The Rev. Paul David Sullivan

The Office of the Bishop has issued the following notice:

April 29, 2021

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We are saddened to inform you of the death of the Rev. Paul David Sullivan in Brighton, Mass., on April 10, 2021. After 33 years’ service in the United States Army, David retired at the rank of lieutenant colonel. He was ordained to the diaconate in 2009 and served at the Church of the Advent in Medfield from 2009 until 2012, then at St. Thomas’s Church in Taunton.

Services will be private at a date yet to be determined, and burial will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, with full military honors.

May the soul of God’s faithful servant departed rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon him.
