While most people look for ways to get rid of rocks in their garden, one church is actually looking for rocks to place in its garden.
St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Dartmouth is currently getting its Peace Garden ready for the season and could use the public’s help to make it extra special this year.
“There is still the desire for people to be a church even though they can’t gather together as a church,” said Reverend Scott A. Ciosek, of St. Peter’s Episcopal, regarding rules of social distancing and restricted group gatherings during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Peace Garden, he said, is a place where people in the community can visit and sit in a quiet setting, whether they go to church or not. He said the garden was created about five years ago.
