Hingham’s faith communities are doing what they can to keep worshiping during the age of social distancing, as coronavirus disrupts Easter and Passover celebrations along with most other aspects of church and temple life.
While some churches and temples have canceled services because of coronavirus, many local ones have migrating to holding religious services and other activities like youth groups and bible studies online.
“We’ve been worshiping virtually, but there is absolutely nothing virtual about our faith,” said The Rev. Tim Schenck, rector of St. John the Evangelist.
