On March 7 the Leadership Development Initiative (LDI) in the Diocese of Massachusetts hosted its first clinic on team building at St. Peter's Church in Weston. This clinic was a follow-up to the January LDI training at which 12 congregations and faith-based teams launched local justice projects. The teams that attended the clinic included: St Andrew's Church in Framingham; St. Paul's Church in Peabody; Jubilee Ministry; Christ Church in Waltham; the Church of the Holy Spirit in Wayland; and Grace Church in Medford. LDI is also offering long-distance coaching for the Episcopal Evangelism Network, The Occupied Church and the Tufts Chaplaincy.
LDI is a rigorous, hands-on, six-month learning lab that aims to develop the spiritual leadership of congregations. More information is available at www.diomassleads.org. Churches interested in learning more about LDI may contact Duncan Hilton, Program Director, at duncan@diomassleads.org.
