The diocesan community's prayers and presence are invited at the upcoming deacons ordination service on Saturday, June 2, 10:30 a.m., at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul (138 Tremont Street) in Boston. All are welcome.
Those being ordained to the diaconate are:
• Bernie Jones, sponsored by Trinity Church, Newton Centre;
• Sonia Hodge, sponsored by St. Thomas's Church, Taunton;
• Helen McKinney, sponsored by Emmanuel Church, Boston;
• Marilyn McMillan, sponsored by St. Barnabas's Church, Falmouth; and
• Ruthann Savage-King, sponsored by Grace Church, Newton.
Those being ordained to the transitional diaconate are:
• Gregory Johnston, sponsored by the Episcopal Chaplaincy at Harvard, Cambridge;
• Jennifer McCracken, sponsored by Christ Church, Needham;
• Tamra Tucker, sponsored by Emmanuel Church, Boston; and
• Jennifer Vath, sponsored by St. Paul’s Church, Lynnfield.
