“The Way of Love for the Second Half of Life” is a one-day retreat for older adults, to be held at the scenic and peaceful waterfront retreat setting of the Society of St. Margaret in Duxbury on Saturday, Oct. 1, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
The “second half of life" is the time after building family and career for turning to focus on other things that really matter. In this program sponsored by the diocesan Lifespan Ministry with Older Adults, participants are invited to explore the elements of “The Way of Love: Practices for a Jesus-Centered Life” as envisioned by Presiding Bishop Michael Curry, through guided learning, discussion, prayer, fellowship and silence. This program will be facilitated by the Rev. Joe Robinson and the Rev. Deacon Phil Flaherty.
A registration fee of $25 will help with the cost of materials and lunch. Space is limited, so please register early.
