The March 7 pilgrimage to the Pocasset Tribe of the Wampanoag Nation will continue on Aug. 8 when pilgrims will visit the Wattupa Pond Burial Grounds. The pilgrimage will begin at 10 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church in Dartmouth and pilgrims will journey together to the burial ground for worship with the tribe. Afterwards, pilgrims will return to St. Peter’s together to share a meal.
This event is open to those who participated in the initial March 7 pilgrimage.
