Register on line at www.province1.org - EXTENDED REGISTRATION DEADLINE - NOW FEB. 25

The conference will feature the Rev. Canon Charles LaFond, Canon for Stewardship in the Diocese of New Hampshire. Joining him will be musician Mr. Fran McKendree and storyteller Ms. Valerie Tutson who draws material from around the world, particularly Africa. Presenters from the dioceses in our province will offer workshops such as “Is God “Green’?”, stewardship of the environment; the Emerging Church and evangelism to younger generations; “Hispanic Mission: El Nuevo Amanecer” (A New Awakening); and “Gathering God's People through Mission Partnerships.” The event will culminate in a U2charist with the Rev. Paige Blair, Diocese of Maine, as presider and preacher.

The goal of the conference is transformation in our lives so we are more equipped to carry out the important work of stewardship, evangelism and congregational development in the church and the world. The theme is a reminder that our faith is based on the reality of Jesus’ resurrection. Michael Ramsey, a former Archbishop of Canterbury, says, “No resurrection. No Christianity.” Understanding Jesus’ resurrection leads to resurrection in our own lives and we are transformed into more faithful and effective disciples.
