Diocese's camp and conference center seeks new interim executive director

Interim executive director Kelsey Young on May 24 offered her resignation to the Barbara C. Harris Camp and Conference Center Board of Directors, effective June 24, to take a new position at Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J.

"As the center's guest services manager and then its conference center director over the past four and a half years, Kelsey has been the face of hospitality for our many diocesan and outside groups, and she has managed the center with poise and expertise since stepping in as interim executive director last November," the Rev. Canon Mally Lloyd, Canon to the Ordinary, said in response to the announcement.  "We are sorry to see her go and we wish her well in her new responsibilities."

The board will seek an interim executive director to oversee operations at the center, with a bias toward conference center expertise.  A job description for the interim position is posted here.

Interim camp director Matt Lindeman is in place to oversee summer camp as the season officially begins in late June.  He reports that although some sessions are filling up, there are still spaces available, especially from July 17 through the first week of August.
