Current eighth or ninth graders are invited to consider joining the diocesan Youth Leadership Academy (YLA).  It begins with a week-long program at the Barbara C. Harris Camp and Conference Center in Greenfield, N.H., June 24-30, involving leadership development, faith formation and fun with a group of about 20 youth from across the diocese and five adult mentors, including Bishop Shaw.  After the week at camp, participants can then decide whether they want to continue with the 13-month YLA program that empowers youth to take leadership and make change in their local church community.  The program culminates with an international mission trip.  Find more information and sign-up for the week at camp here.
